How to measure your bra size - bra size chart

People often ask us how to measure for a bra? Measuring bra size is easy when you know how. Follow these simple steps to get your bra measurements and use our bra size converter to get your UK bra size.
  1.  Band: Take a firm measurement in inches around the rib cage, directly underneath the breasts. Use a soft measuring tape flat against the skin and ensure it does not slip down at the back. Convert this measurement to band size as follows:-

  1. Cup: Take a second measurement over the fullest part of the bust but do not make it too tight. Again, try to ensure the tape measure does not slip down your back. If the measurement falls on the half inch, round up! To determine your cup size, do a simple calculation. Take away this measurement from the original underbust measurement. The number you are left with determines your cup size as follows:-

BRA SIZE EXAMPLE: if you measure 28" on the underbust and 35” on the overbust. Calculation = 35"– 28" = 7” difference. Your bra size would therefore be a 32D - you lucky thing!
